There are a few minor updates on the agenda for 2026, but the addition of the Black Label version remains the most significant recent improvement. Otherwise, the American automaker's SUV remains one of the most modern and advanced vehicles in its segment. It lacks nothing in terms of equipment, and its build quality is impeccable.
The 2026 Lincoln Navigator starts at $122,190, which is surprisingly reasonable for a vehicle in this segment. It's worth noting that some mainstream SUVs cost nearly the same in their top trims, which are far from being as luxurious as the Navigator—even in its base version. To opt for the extended-wheelbase model, you'll need to add $4,000 to the bill. Next comes the Reserve trim at $131,690. This price difference is due to several enhancements, particularly in terms of comfort and technology features. Finally, the Black Label version sits at the top of the lineup with a starting price of $151,690. From there, you can quickly add another $30,000 in options.
The list of models in the full-size luxury SUV category is noticeably shorter than in other segments, and that's perfectly normal. These vehicles are reserved for the elite, and their pricing reflects that. In fact, money is far from being the primary motivation for buyers here. What they truly want is to make as few compromises as possible. Fortunately, the Lincoln Navigator ranks among the most imposing and spacious models in its segment.
Rivals: BMW X7, Cadillac Escalade, Infiniti QX80, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, JLR Range Rover, Lexus LX, Mercedes-Benz GLS
Lincoln long neglected the design of its vehicles, which were clearly just Fords with different badges and beige leather. Today, things are different, and the Lincoln Navigator boasts a personality that clearly distinguishes it from the Ford Expedition on which it is based. The American luxury SUV is imposing yet undeniably elegant. It's a model that commands real presence on the road.
Its cabin is simply sumptuous, and comfort is something you'll find in abundance. The first thing that catches the eye is its massive 48-inch display with 4K resolution. There's also a feature I particularly appreciate aboard this SUV: Lincoln Rejuvenate, a multisensory experience lasting 5 to 10 minutes that allows you to take a moment to relax between appointments. Here, the lighting, the fragrance diffused inside the cabin, the music, and the visuals displayed on the screens have all been carefully designed to help you unwind.
The 2026 Lincoln Navigator offers only one mechanical option: a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine. It produces 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and power is sent to all four wheels through a true 4x4 system. The Lincoln Navigator is also one of the luxury vehicles offering the best towing capacity, rated at 8,700 pounds.
No hybrid version and no performance variant. It is quite fuel-hungry.
It's a luxurious vehicle with a particularly impressive technological experience. The Lincoln Navigator is also a highly capable model.
The Lincoln Navigator stands out from the competition thanks to its overall experience.
It took time, but the Lincoln Navigator now offers far more than just a name and a prestigious status. It's a true luxury vehicle, and I'm surprised its price remains so competitive even today.
